Do you prefer to stay at home in bad weather? Or do you go out even though it is raining? Great if you do, because it’s the best you can do for your and your baby’s immune system.
Just in case you both need the right outfit to stay dry in the rain – we have rainproof garments directly from the Finnish expert MaM: the manduca by MaM babywearing coats and covers. As true Scandinavians they do not only know their way about a harsh climate, but they were also the first Europeans who have developed special babywearing garments. These “babywearing cover pioneers” put all their babywearing experience and passion in clever and well-designed products.
Mix & match: a waterproof combination
For the constant drizzle in central European autumn and winter (and even later), the All-Weather raincoats and rain covers are super practical, because they are not only waterproof, but also ultra light, and above all breathable.
The light All-Weather Babywearing Cover is the rain cover per se: it is quick and easy to put on, and you can also wear it with your own (loose cut) raincoat.
Some like it cosy!
If you and your baby are shivering, just put on an additional fleece cover to protect your neck from cold: the detachable Cold Weather Insert, the babywearing dickey “for two” (another ingenious Finnish invention). Like that, your baby is always well wrapped up and kept warm at all times – no matter if you combine the fleece insert with a babywearing jacket, a rain coat or your own outdoor jacket.
A practical feature: The dickey and the cover can be worn either jointly or separately.
Watertight in all weathers
You may also combine the soft and cuddly Cold Weather Insert with the All-Weather rain coat. Just like the All-Weather cover, this rain coat is waterproof (up to 5000 mm of water) and – and this is really important: it is breathable (after all, rain gear should not make you feel like you are in a sauna).
A big hood and flap pockets for you, and your baby wears a southwester – like that you both stay super dry (in autumn and winter a combination with a fleece cover is recommended and in the transition period you may wear it without any extra warm layer).
Is it still raining – or again? Well, get ready for the rainy day: grab your rain coat and then go outside with your little one. Have fun!
